Once the wires are stripped, press them togeth-
er, pinch them between your fingers and twist
them.
You can use a needle nose pliers to twist them
tighter if you want to save some strain on your
fingers.
Your wires should look like this after twisting
them and before you solder them together.
Dip the twisted metal wire into your flux. The
purpose of flux is to reduce the surface tension
between the solder and the metal enabling the
melted solder to flow better and coat more
evenly.
