The detailed mountains of the backdrop on
this section were mounted to a thin board, cut
to shape and screwed into the wall to give it
more dimension. The outer tracks continue
on, crossing to the left and over a series of
bridges that cut a swath through the center of
the layout, looking down on the scenes be-
low, before meeting up and continuing on as
the inner track that runs back to the room be-
hind the stairwell.
Back near the entrance, the inner track
switches off a siding towards Lannon and
here we see a small station alongside a shed
with a bright yellow speeder. The main inner
line pushes forward, ducking underneath the
outer set of tracks, becoming the outer line as
it reaches Lone Lake.

For operational purposes the platform
above Lannon is considered Ashland Station.
