The upper level is just as impressive as the
one below. A detailed logging camp hides
among hundreds of trees. Further down there
is another log pond, with floating logs and
more trees. I bring up the trees because, for
most of us, trees are fun for about the first
hundred or so. Then they get monotonous
and we move on to other more colorful proj-
ects. It takes true skill, patience and devotion
to a craft to erect hundreds, if not thousands,
        of individual trees.
Two black pipes reaching up to the second
level from the first serve a dual purpose. The
pipes are used to help support the secondary
level, but Jim has also run the wiring through
the pipes to hide them from view.
A turn table brings us to the end of the up-
per level, leading into a small yard with an-
other engine house. This area is directly
above the farm in the country where our tour
first began. The entire wall above the second
level is decorated with dozens of awards that View 49
Jim has received for his model building skills.
