This is a great for portable or temporary lay-
outs for larger scales. You use
indoor/outdoor carpet for the grass (green
color) and then you cut the roadbed out of a Example of carpet around a curve
light gray color.
This will work good with: G scale, Standard
gauge, O scale, and S scale.
You just have to cut the light gray a little
bigger then the ties. See example of a
straightaway, curve and around a switch.
