The girls of Kyoritsu Girls’ Senior High
School chose to model a replica of the spa
town of Ikaho, Japan. This town is located
on the slopes of Mount Haruna, an extinct
volcano, and is well known for it’s hot
springs, or onsen.
This town also features colorful foliage
and is filled with “Susuki” grass, a vegeta-
tion with tall, thin blades and a feathery
plume on top. The stairs that cut a swath
through the town were created from stone
and are also predominately featured on this
module. The N scale trains glide through
the town that was modeled in T-Trak modu-
lar standards.
