thing trains. Over the years their activities be-
gan to include railfanning, slide shows and
lively discussions fueled by beer and popcorn.
Their name took shape as, after a long week-
end of railfanning they would drop off their
film to be developed on Sunday night. Often
times, though, the film wouldn’t be ready by
Monday…sometimes it was Tuesday or later.
The group included a vast palette of artists
and editors; novices and professionals. A few
of the people that once hailed as a part of this
elite group include: Jim Boyd, Gil Reid, Mike
Schaffer, Jim Scribbens, Dave Engles and Bob His over 200 paintings were crafted from
